Shipping, Warranty & Returns

            All shipping costs are calculated from product origin and nonnegotiable.  All parts sold by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM are new and sold on an as is basis, the only warranties applying to these parts are those that may be offered by the manufacturer as limited warranties. Not all parts will fit perfect or perform as desired.

            This is the nature of aftermarket accessories and parts. We get the best product available (based on personal/customer experience, reputation, etc.) DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM hereby expressly disclaims all warranties either expressed or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose and neither assumes, nor authorizes any other person(s) to assume for it any liability in connection with the sale of these parts. The buyer shall not be entitled to recover from DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM any consequential damages, damages to property, damages for loss of use, loss of time, loss of profit, loss of income, any costs of modification/installation, or any other incidental or secondary damages.

            Parts are NEW aftermarket and are intended for off road use only. Please check your local laws and research the parts you wish to purchase to insure they are the correct items you want to purchase.

 

1.      Inspection
Buyer shall inspect and reconcile all inbound shipments from DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM within seven (7) working days. Claims for shortages or damaged merchandise must be submitted to DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM no more than ten (10) working days following Buyer's receipt of shipment.

 

2.      Returns; Defective and Damaged Merchandise
Defective and freight damaged merchandise (but only where DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM is providing shipment) may be returned to DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM for full credit, but only upon verification by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM of such defect or damage. A Returned Merchandise Authorization ("RMA") form must be filled out by the Buyer and Approved by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM. Credit will be issued to Buyer upon receipt of the RMA form and the claim approval from the freight company.

 

3.      Returns; Exchanges; Good Merchandise
Returns of good merchandise may be accepted by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM in its sole discretion under the following conditions:

a.       Return/Exchange of merchandise in totally re-saleable condition, without markings on the original packaging will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM. Accepted return will be assessed a 25% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.

b.      Return/Exchange of merchandise in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be restricted to extraordinary circumstances with prior approval from your DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM. Accepted return will be assessed a 30% restocking charge, except that DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM merchandise returned in packaging that has been marked, relabeled or otherwise defaced will be subject to a 40% restocking charge. Returned part number shall not exceed 15% of total annual purchase quantities.

c.       Merchandise classified by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM as TB (To Be Discontinued), or DC (Discontinued), may not be returned for credit.

d.      Merchandise on sales promotion or inventory packages may not be returned for credit.

e.       Buyer must pay all return transportation charges.

f.       Buyer must obtain and complete an RMA form, issued by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM, for any good merchandise return or exchanges.

g.      Returns/Exchanges will not be accepted under any circumstances after 15 calendar days after the ship date indicated by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM.

h.      Any returns for non-fitment or quality issues will require high quality digital pictures of the products to be emailed to the account manager before an RMA is approved.

4.      Order cancellations:

a.       Order cancellations will take up to 48 hours after a cancellation is requested before the order is officially cancelled and money processed for return and are subject to a 25% restocking fee.

 

5.      We offer only exchanges in the event of a defective item. Defective Items must be returned to Dragons Tail Motorsports within 21 days and inspected by us before a replacement will be shipped. Tips: Do not throw away your original part(s)!

6.      All products must be returned in original condition including packaging, documentation, warranty cards, instructions, and hardware.

a.       Most lighting and performance products require professional installation to function properly. This can avoid any problems that can often be found with an inexperienced installer of aftermarket products. Installation of items, done improperly, cannot be returned. Additionally, returning an item because one doesn't know how to personally install it themselves will result in restocking fees and loss of s/h fees. The allowance of a return assumes the item is/was not installed, used, or broken.

7.      Clearance Items: These are products that have discounted due to discontinuation, overstock, or limited promotion. These items are not eligible for refund. Customer may receive store credit if no exchange is available. The customer is responsible for returning products freight pre-paid and must cover return cost of the exchange.

8.      Products cannot be installed or otherwise show signs of wear. No refunds or exchange on any part that has been modified or painted.

9.      Please read the labels on the boxes when you receive the product. Returning a product that you later found to be the wrong one shipped after you tried installing it is not grounds for a return. You must notify us within 3 days of receipt so we can rectify the situation.

10.  No cancellations, returns or exchanges are permitted on special order items, custom order items, electronic products, and body kits.

11.  All returns must be shipped freight prepaid. Returns must be returned through a traceable method and insured. If we cannot verify receipt of the product to us, we can't process the return.

12.  Returns are shipped via a ground method at our discretion unless the customer pays for the difference for expedited shipping. Prior expedited shipping on the original order has no bearing on the second return method of shipping.

13.  Any returns found to be non-defective are subject to a handling fee of $10 and all non-product related fees (shipping, transaction costs, and insurance) are not refundable. If you want your item back, you'll need to pay all shipping and handling costs back to you. No exception.

14.  If we cannot get you a suitable replacement within 3 weeks, we will refund your money less shipping costs.

15.  Any products returned to us that is not our own is an act of malice and fraud. Some items (and eventually all) contain hidden security identifiers which must be intact when we receive the product. We will not replace or return the product if it is being passed off as one of our own or does not contain the marking. We will report such actions the postal service (for mail fraud), and any applicable local law enforcement. The item sent to us will be disposed of without further recompense.

16.  All products returned to DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM must have a Returned Merchandise Authorization (RMA) issued by DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM. The RMA is valid for 7 days from the date of issuance. Please contact us by phone or email to request an RMA number and return instructions.

17.  Shortages:

a.       Please inspect your delivery immediately. We must be notified within 24 hours. Backordered items will ship separately. Please inspect the packing list. If shortages are found, please inspect box for split, crack or tears. If an item is missing, please notify the shipper and DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM immediately. Failure to do so limits our ability to correct the situation. Shipping companies require immediate notification for inspection.

18.  Shipping Damages :

a.       Inspect your parcel carefully before signing for the package. Please note any irregularities or damage on the freight receipt. If the package is in good condition, open it immediately and check for hidden damages. If damages are found, please notify shipping company and DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM immediately. We must be notified within 24 hours. KEEP ALL PACKAGING, INCLUDING SHIPPING CARTON. DO NOT return damaged items without prior approval.

All information submitted to us is private. We do not rent, sell, or distribute information to anyone. We respect your privacy.

All Prices are subject to change without notice. If there is a price variance, will notify you prior to shipping.

Some items illustrated are illegal on the road, unless specifically stated to be DOT/SAE approved. Those items are only intends for static display vehicles or for off-road racing vehicles. Items are advised to be used only in closed circuit. Public road and Highway uses are strictly prohibited. Please check local laws for applicability.

DRAGONSTAILMOTORSPORTS.COM is not responsible for any typographical errors on the description or pricing of products. Due to the large amount of products and frequency of new incoming products, typographical errors can occur. We reserve the right to change price or make corrections without notice
